PURCHASING
Chinchilla City offers several ways for you to purchase items from the website.  If you wish to make a secure payment by credit card, debit card, or your PayPal account you may complete the whole transaction online. All online payments are processed through PayPal and as such, Chinchilla City does not store or have access to your card number.  Please note, you do not have to have a PayPal account to use your credit or debit card. You may also pay by e-check if you have a PayPal account (order will be held until payment clears).

SHIPPING
Most orders ship within 2 business days by USPS.  Please allow an extra 5 business days for made-to-order items such as ledges, houses, and hay boxes.  Orders paid by check or e-check will be held until payment clears.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We welcome international orders over $30 (plus shipping).  International customers are required to have a Paypal account as payment is made through invoice rather than the cart.  Please contact us with your order and address for a shipping quote.  Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes, we do not mark orders as gift.  Some items may be prohibited by customs, usually these are the natural wood chews and hay.

RETURNS
In order to keep all pets healthy, we do not accept returns.  If we made a mistake or you have a problem with your order, please contact us within 72 hours and we will do our best to keep you a happy customer. Although we only sell products that we feel are safe and those that we use with our own chinchillas, we cannot guarantee the safety of any item.  It is your responsibility as a pet owner to use your knowledge and judgment as to the appropriateness of the products you use; we are happy to answer any questions you have about a product.  Always thoroughly inspect your pet and all accessories often.  If you suspect an item may cause harm to your pet remove it immediately.  If your pet is injured or sick seek professional veterinary care.

BULK ORDERS
Contact us for quotes on bulk orders.  Please include which products you are interested in, the quantity desired, and your zipcode so we can get back to you shortly with a total quote including shipping.

PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy.  We don’t like junk mail either so we won’t sell or unnecessarily share your information.  In order to process and ship your order, your information may be shared with USPS and PayPal or Google.
